Card has non-detached receipt.

1944 envelope and letter from Women's concentration camp Ravensbruck north of Berlin was sent by Emilie Sebkova. The letter has instructions to the sender and a space for a message. Both envelope and letter were sent by Emilie, but at a few months apart. Ravensntuck housed mainly political prisoners and some Jews. "Nazi concentration camp exclusively for women from 1939 to 1945, located in northern Germany, 90 km (56 mi) north of Berlin at a site near the village of Ravensbrück (part of Fürstenberg/Havel). The camp memorial's estimated figure of 132,000 women were in the camp during the war... Reverse of letter has inmate's name, number, block and DOB. Overall excellent condition.
