VF NH. 1942 propaganda stamps printed to raise money for members of the French "Tricolor Legion." The stamps were printed and sold by the 'Action Comittee of the French Legionnaires to combat Bolshevism.' The stamps depict the military forces of the legion, "volunteer" Waffen SS units fighting for the Nazis.

VF NH. Four stamp set created by the British, 3, 4, 6 &amp; 8pf stamps, designed to fool the postal authorities. Scarce set in high demand. Compare to American OSS forgeries of the 6 and 12pf stamps, #16-17.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Two papers were used for the 3pf., an off-color yellowish paper and the white, which matches the other stamps.&nbsp; Very fresh! Corner margin examples.<br>

FVF NH, British Propaganda Forgery of the German airmail feldpost airmail stamp. Perforation 12 3/4. Issued to flood the German feldpost with extra letters. Scarce.

VF NH, British-made propaganda forgery with Hans Frank on 20-pfennig Generalgovernment stamp instead of Hitler. Hans Frank was one of Hitler's top lieutenants and was Hitler's legal advisor. He was Governor-General of occupied Poland the location of Auschwitz and Treblinka all though he denied any knowledge of them. Dr. Frank was convicted by the Nuremberg Tribunals as a war criminal and mass murderer and was executed for his crimes. Lightly signed by German expert Friedl.

Printed in 1943 in Berlin, the stamps were intended for the Nazi supported Waffen SS units of Subhas Chandra Bose in his efforts to combat the British Forces in India. The stamps were printed both perforated and Imperforate. The set has surcharges to help finance the war effort. A 1 Rupee stamp in three different formats was also issued. Sold separately.
