British Hitler Head Propaganda Forgery Set MI 23-26

VF NH. Four stamp set created by the British, 3, 4, 6 & 8pf stamps, designed to fool the postal authorities. Scarce set in high demand. Compare to American OSS forgeries of the 6 and 12pf stamps, #16-17.    Two papers were used for the 3pf., an off-color yellowish paper and the white, which matches the other stamps.  Very fresh!
