Cancels show city building logos. Berlin birthday cancel shows the Brandenburg Gate and proclaims German Military Freedom! Includes B118 Berlin CXL, B120 Wien CXL, B137 Braunau CXL and B117 Eger CXL.

VF 1939 This Hitler stamp is a re-issue of an earlier Hitler portrait stamp with the additional inscription "Reichparteitag 1939." This was one of an annual issue for the NAZI Party Congress in Nurenberg.

VF Issued for the 1941 running of the Hamburg "Blue Band" horse race. This stamp was one of an annual issue. This 1941 stamp shows a race horse and has a huge 100pf surcharge.

VF 1941 The Brandenburg gate in Berlin had long been a symbol of German Unity and Might. With a chariot and rider at the top, it is located in the heart of Berlin, adjacent to the Nazi headquarters there. During the Soviet occupation the Soviets lifted the chariot and turned it around so it would be facing East Berlin (it was in the Soviet sector). It has since been returned to its original facing, to the West.
