VF NH/slight gum disturbance. Christmas 1944 Military mail field post issue for Rhodes Island on piece with feldpost cancel. Local overprint of of current Rhodes stamps were authorized to control the amount of mail sent. Typeset overprint. MI 12II. Signed, "Pickenpack." Scarce overprint style, excelent magenta color.
