Very Fine No Gum. U-boat stamp issued to German soldiers trapped in a pocket in the Baltics on the North Sea March 1945. The stamp allowed one letter to be sent by U-boat back to Germany. This was the only means of getting mail out. Very scarce. Issued without gum.

Compare to American OSS forgeries of the 6 and 12pf stamps, #16-17.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Two papers were used for the 3pf., an off-color yellowish paper and the white, which matches the other stamps.&nbsp; Very fresh! VF NH, British Parody Propaganda Forgery MI 32 showing SS Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler shackling a German Civilian. The stamp is inscribed, Gedenke Des 30 Januar 1933; parodying a Nazi slogan asking German to remember the day the Nazis took power. Excellent, and seldom seen propaganda forgery. The stamp was designed in the format of #B289 marking the 1923 Putsch.

VF NH, British-made propaganda forgery with Hans Frank on 20-pfennig Generalgovernment stamp instead of Hitler. Hans Frank was one of Hitler's top lieutenants and was Hitler's legal advisor. He was Governor-General of occupied Poland the location of Auschwitz and Treblinka all though he denied any knowledge of them. Dr. Frank was convicted by the Nuremberg Tribunals as a war criminal and mass murderer and was executed for his crimes. Lightly signed by German expert Friedl. With a current Michel Catalog value of 4500 euro, this rare stamp has steadily appreciated to reflect its scarcity.&nbsp; <br>
