VF NH. 1942 propaganda stamps printed to raise money for members of the French "Tricolor Legion." The stamps were printed and sold by the 'Action Committee of the French Legionnaires to combat Bolshevism.' The stamps depict the military forces of the legion. Tabs have the Legion's crest. Note: four of the stamps have additional selvedge with printing number.
