VF NH. German occupation of Kotor, a city state in the Montenegro occupation area. Kotor is a 2,000 year-old city originally annexed and occupied by Italy at the beginning of WW II. The Germans took over in October 1943 until liberation in November 1944. Italian stamps overprinted, "Deutsche Militar verwaltung Kotor," in several types of overprint. Top quality set, signed, "Krischke BPP," and others.
