FVF LH, 1905-1919 Germania and the Kaiser regular issue. This is the continuationof a set first printed in 1900 and inscribed "Reichspost." The inscriptionwas changed to "Deutsches Reich," in 1902. Both earlier printings are on unwatermarked paper. This complete set of 12 Germania and four larger stamps shows the Kaiser, the Berlin post office and an allegory of the union of North and South Germany. This is the later printing which was made during WW I, except for the 2pf. which came out in 1905 and was replaced with different colors in 1916. The most affordable version of all the mint printings.
