VF LH/H. 1928 Graf Zeppelin Airmail 1-4 Mark, Set of 3. The Zeppelin airship was instrumental in building Germany's power and prestige leading up to WW II. They later added swastika's to the tail fins. Note C36 has disturbed gum.<br>

Inscribed "First German Airmail" The stamp has a cancel from the flight. One-mark Gelber Hund stamp on special postcard printed fro the flight, along with Germania 5pf regular postage.

VF LH. 1912 10 pf. dark red brown Semi-Official airmail for flights from Darmstadt to Frankfurt overprinted E.EL.P. Inscribed "First German Airmail." Scarce, only 3,000 printed. It is thought E.EL.P. stands for eastern airmail.
