VF 1939 This Hitler stamp is a re-issue of an earlier Hitler portrait stamp with the additional inscription "Reichparteitag 1939." This was one of an annual issue for the NAZI Party Congress in Nurenberg.

VF 1941 The Brandenburg gate in Berlin had long been a symbol of German Unity and Might. With a chariot and rider at the top, it is located in the heart of Berlin, adjacent to the Nazi headquarters there. During the Soviet occupation the Soviets lifted the chariot and turned it around so it would be facing East Berlin (it was in the Soviet sector). It has since been returned to its original facing, to the West.
