Fine used. Orange-brown 3+ margin, 1847 five-cent Franklin with a very light pen cancel. Tiny rough area at top.

XF used. Red brown 1847 five-cent Franklin with a bold, red squared-grid cancel. Huge, even margins. The five cent stamp paid the postage for a 1/2 oz. letter up to 300 miles. Strikling red cancel does not obscure portrait. PSE Certificate.

FVF used strip of three. 10-cent Washington, Type II with light cancel! Great plating piece.

VF used, small fault. 1861 one-cent Franklin type I. Excellent margins and a dark blue cancel at top. But with a pin-head size thin spot.

Fine centering, used. 90-cent Blue Washington with ight red cancel. Stamp has been heavily repaired;including added margins top and right, closed tear. Still a genuine used example of this rare stamp. Cat. $10,000.

VF used, 1857 one-cent type II Franklin. Moderate grid cancel. Excellent centering for this.

Fine used. One-cent 1857 Franklin type IV. Light cancel, recut at bottom. Good color, just in at left.

Fine LH. 1875 2 Mark dull violet purple, two in oval. Scarce shade mint.

XF used. Dark green 10-cent 1859 George Washington type V. big margins, excellent red cancel.
