The set is overprinted- NURBURGRING-RENNEN, for the 1939 race at the famed racetrack. Complete set on piece with the special cancel issued for the event."

"German occupation of the Sudetenland, Sep. 21, 1938. Card shows armed nazis in various uniforms; including SA brownshirts. Small map of Asch area inset. Card has local 1.20 Kcs. overprint on 20h stamp, for Asch. Propaganda cancel in red reads, "Wir haben do...ach getragen, nun sind wir fre..und bleiben frei! Postamt Asch 1, am 21 September 1938." Loosely translated means; We have carried the day and are now free! Date cancel with Sep. 30, 1938 CDS. Stamp is black 50pf, not brown 10pf shown."
